While giving one of my v3s its routine cleaning, i realized that the screen isn't, like, glued in or anything. It;'s just stuck to the screen buffers by pressure from the case. Has anyone ever tried swapping screens with other tamas? I have an akai i rarely run, and I was wondering if there was any technical reason why i couldn't just put the red screen in a v3. I haven't tried it, so i don't even know if they're the same size, but there could also be underlying problems like battery usage/wattage/LCD tomfoolery that i as a very "unga bunga electricity scary" modder couldn't predict. I was considering doing this with my pink translucent v3, which is why i'm really hesitant, as that's my favorite one and i'd never be able to forgive myself if I ruined it! Has anyone even done this before? I looked, but I couldn't find any mention of swapping screens at all, much less from an akai to a black screen tama.
