Adoption Centers

I was reading a forum and it kept talking about people making adoption centers...

What are they exactly?

I mean, I know what a real adoption center is, obviously, but what's one on Tamatalk???

In my mind i think its when you adopt other tamagotchis from other tama owners and keep them when you adopt them. I may be wrong and i may be right im not too sure though. but im curious though of adopting on tamatalk.com. shoot, i need to find this info out so i need to know whats going on here.

Basically, the topic starter puts the little emoticons in a post, gives them a name, and people say, "I want, (For example) Daisy the

Then you post occasionally in the topic to say how you're taking care of them.

ex. "I fed Daisy a popsicle."

Sometimes, there's also a "shop" that you can "buy" items for your pet in.
