Megan nodded contently. "Ah, interesting." She didn't really have a clue what he was on about, but to avoid being rude she trie her best to be 'intrigued'.
XovoX shrugged. "Yeah.", he said. He knew she didn't really get what she was talking about, so he decided to switch to simpler questions. "So, how old are you, Megan?" He thought he might have asked that already, but didn't remember her answer.
Megan giggled, but frowned a little. It must be depressing knowing that you can never die of old age, and have to live with the torture of watching loved ones die. Which is the main reason Megan wouldn't admit her feelings to him - it would simply make XovoX attached to her and when she eventually did die.. well.. Megan shook the thought from her mind and looked up at him with a half-smile.
"It's like uhhh..." Geo thought for a moment, "It's a game, except you play it on the TV." she started hooking up the console to the TV in her dorm. "How do you not know what a video game is?"
Megan tilted her head to XovoX, wondering if he'd read her thoughts or something. "Oh... nothing. You?" It was obvious she was lying, but telling him the truth about the whole 'relationship' thing would risk their friendship and only make matters worse.
"Yeah that's slow! Most people do it a few months in once they're your age." Tarou said, "Maybe you should ask her about it. She might be waiting for you to make a move, you know."
XovoX knew that something was troubling her, but wasn't nosy or interested enough to bug her about it. "I don't know.", he said. "Just thinking about home and such, normal thoughts."
Eli said simply, "Did for a little while." He was now absentmindedly chewing on the pillow.
