3 Special characters?

I went to Tamatown, and clicked the "Info" sign

Then it said:

You can create 3 special characters from Memetchi. To do so, you'll need 900 artistic "skill" points and a total of 1500 "skill" points overall.

Are they talking about Makiko? But I have a Makiko now, and I only nid 350 artistic points and 450 overall points to get her.

Has anyone tried?

The info sign in TamaTown is wrong. (Several of the signs are wrong.)

Im with binary, I got a makiko as well and I only had like 100 artistic points, so the signs are wrong..

You might have a glitch, or you might have confused the skill points. To obtain a Makiko, you need at least 350 artistic skill points.

Note:

Pencil - Intellectual

Sparkle - Arts

Flower - Social

Has anyone actually disproven this??

I mean, has someone actually got 900 artistic (intelligence points or whatever) and 1500 total points??

I ask because I saw another thread saying something about this, but with Mametchi ( needing 900 intelligence points and 1500 points overall).

I am actually wondering whether I should put in the time and effort to do this with my Tensaichi to see if it does evolve into ANOTHER special character!!

If it says it on Tamatown, then isn't it possible that it just might possibly be the case????

Anyway, we'll see how I go in getting points and if I actually succeed in getting that many points before the matchmaker comes maybe I will have an answer for you

Oh, cool! Thanks for going to try the experiment.

But it may be a glitch, like what binary has said.

But if their actually NEW characters...THAT WOULD BE COOL! =D

Well we will see how I go! Currently I am at 520 for intelligence, 76 fashion and 98 social.

My Tensaichi is now 4 years old (turned 4 earlier today). I also only got my first job this morning (and haven't had much time to work until now).

I decided to get a social job, because I already have over 500 intelligence points, mostly from playing Shape. I am definitely better at shape than dance or flag... So, I figured I should be able to get over 900 intelligence playing Shape, but would need a job in something else to get a total of 1500 points!

I now have just under 2 days to achieve the goal of getting those points before the Matchmaker comes!

Oh, and I went to tama town and looked on the Info sign lots of times, and I found that it said the same thing. So... well maybe it is right! But if so, I am surprised no one else has had a new character before now... but I have to at least TRY and see what happens!

Ahh it didn't work I didn't really think it would, because I figured someone else would have had to try it by now!!

Anyway I got over 500 Intelligence points, and over 1500 overall and nothing happened!

At least now no one else has to try to see if it'll work!
