"Yes. I do," Christien said, still appearing to be thinking very hard, to be studying every aspect of the emotion that her face showed. "And it's okay for you to tell me I'm going too fast, and I understand if you can't say it back to me. I wouldn't want you to say it and not mean it. But I know that it was annoying you that you didn't know what I meant when I told you." He paused again before he said, "But I do love you."

Elaina let out a tiny giggle and suddenly embraced him tighter than normal, of course minding her arm, before placing a series of kisses along his neck. She pulled back and looked at him in the eye, "Yes, it is a bit soon, but, I am pretty positive that I love you too. So, you don't need to ramble anymore."

Christien looked relieved, almost, that his admitting that he loved her hadn't made her feel awkward, almost as much as he was elated that she told him she loved him back. He smiled gently and said, "Well, don't worry, I'll stop now," he chuckled.

Elaina grinned at him, "Good. Though, I do love your accent. But, I think there's better things we could do than talk." She placed a long, passionate kiss on his mouth, as an example.

"You're absolutely right," Christien agreed, before she kissed him. He smiled against her lips, and after a long time had to unwillingly pull away for air. In which time, he leaned his forehead against hers while to caught his breath, gazing into her hazel eyes. People who didn't have brown hair and brown eyes were actually quite fascinating to most French people, since there weren't many at all who were natively French, and she most definitely fascinated him, but for more reasons than just that. He kissed her again.

Elaina turned her head slightly, making it easier to kiss him with such intensity. Finally pulling away for a well-needed breath, "I could just kiss you all day." Her statement was followed by a longfull sigh. "But, we have work to do. If we're going to survive here, we're going to need shelter." As if on que, a large boom of thunder shook the ground and twisted Elaina's pretty features down into a grimace. "Seems like we don't have much time."

Christien nodded and ran his fingers through her hair absently once more before loosening his grip on her to just one arm around her waist. He looked up at the clouds and his smiled faltered slightly, though he tried not to let the idea of rain and a storm get him down too much. "You're right," he said, then taking a glance around the island, where he thought a suitable spot might be to build some kind of shelter for them. A place where two or three, even better, close together was probably the best thing he could think of as a starting point. He mentioned this to her, asking, "Do you remember seeing anywhere like that?"

Elaina thought for a moment, her hazel eyes narrowed in concentration and determination. "Yes!" She suddenly exclaimed, intertwining her fingers with his with her one hand while gently yanking him the opposite direction. "This way! It was back at the beginning beach we were at. And maybe some of the plane parts are still intact enough that we could use!" The thickening of the air urged her to hurry through the dense island forest, not minding if some painful plants hit her.

Daughtry <3 ;)

And, I'll be back in about an hour.

Christien followed. He couldn't really remember the way back, and was glad that she'd at least taken note of the direction they'd come in to find where they'd stayed all afternoon. "I'm surprised you saw and remember that much considering you were in a lot of pain when we were back there," he said, meaning it as a compliment to her general observance and memory.

Okay, and yeah I <3 him.

Emerging from the forest-like-thing, she suddenly paused, wondering exactly how she'd remembered. "Well, I'd spent a good deal of time searching for people to help me. I guess I just remembered it." She said outloud, trying to find a reason as well. But that didn't matter, she was already making her way toward the completely destroyed plane that was still sitting, somewhat above the shallow water lapping at the front of the beach.

Nobody knows him here, really, as per usual with Idol contestants, but I've always watched, and I liked him a lot better than Taylor Hicks.

Christien nodded to acknowledge her comment, and then took a look around the site. She was right; there was a perfect spot on which to build a shelter just to the right of where they had come out of the forest. And building something suitable enough just to survive the storm until they could make a more permanent build woukd be easy with everything surrounding them, both plane and forest.

Me too! I didn't really pay attention to Taylor Hicks though.

Elaina struggled to lift pieces of the plane up and carry them over to the spot, though, with some patience and time, she managed. She looked helplessly at Christien, as it was obvious he was going to have to be the main builder in this; she felt useless without both hands and gazed sadly at the ground.

I just disliked him so much I watched Chris and then turned it off when Taylor came on. I'm not a fan of country artists or music as it is, but he was bad.

My favourite Idol contestant.. Well, I think that's pretty obvious xD

Christien took the piece of plane from her. Once he'd placed it in the right spot he turned to her and said, "You can just sit down and take a rest, honestly. I don't want you to hurt yourself any more than you have already, and I can do it all-- that's no problem." He smiled reassuringly at her and gestured to the general sand area around them, where she could just sit while he built them something.

Haha I love Adam too! I' didn't watch all of the season but from what I saw, a lot of people loved him.

Elaina sighed and plopped down on the ground, leaning back and squinting so the harsh sunlight didn't burn her eyes. "I feel useless." She stated, angry at herself for being hurt; even though, she really had no control over it. "Are you sure I can't do anything?"

I hadn't religiously watched last series until about the final 18 or something, so I'd never seen him before. My first reaction was something like the jaw dropping and then saying, "Oh my God, he's gorgeous! Where did he come from?!"

And then I made sure I watched every week. And he was incredible every week. I love him so much <3

Christien leaned down and kissed Elaina on the cheek. "You're not useless. And I'm fine to do it all, I promise. I don't want you to hurt yourself. Then you'll just not be able to do anything that you want to for even longer," he said to her. There was good logic in that, he thought, so hopefully she'd listen.

Haha! I was like "Woah! What have I been missing?!" But I'd only watched in time for the last like...three episodes.

Elaina frowned and stuck out her bottom lip in a displeased pout, "Fine." She closed her eyes slowly, placing her arms behind her head for support and waited until Christien was done. "I owe you for this."

"You owe me nothing," Christien replied, with a tone that was still friendly, because it was her, of course, but kind of stated 'and that's the end of it'. About twenty minutes later, he'd finished checking that everything was safely placed, and announced their shelter complete, and it came just in time to shield them from the rain that was just beginning to fall.

Elaina, feeling the liquid drop on her cheek and cascade down her neck, scurried under the shelter before sitting back down on the surprisingly comfortable floor. "It's perfect!" She exclaimed, which was the absolute truth; the shelter was magnificantly built and spaceious enough for both of them to have a good amount of moving room. She pressed herself against him, not just because the sudden rain had brought a cold front, but because she wanted to be. "Thank you." She murmured, placing a slight peck on his lips.

"You are very welcome," Christien replied, returning the kiss. He wrapped his arms around her; like her, getting close not only because it made things warmer, but because he just wanted to be near to her as well. He looked around, satisfied with his shelter building skills, apparently. The sound of the rain hitting it was also somewhat comforting, actually.

Elaina liked the feel of his arms around her, like he was protecting her from all dangers, plus, his skin was warm in contrast to her always cold skin. For some reason, her natural body temperature was two degrees below normal, making her chilled to the touch. "Oh, you don't have a shirt!" Elaina suddenly exclaimed, "Are you cold?"
