Elaina nodded and walked beside him, running her free-hand down his arm before grasping his fingers. "So," she said softly, "what should we talk about?"

Elaina glanced back at him sideways, a thoughtful expression twisting her pretty features. "I'm quite plain really." She said to him. "I don't really know what you' like to hear."

"You are not plain," Christien told her. "Someone as good at kissing"-- that was the less serious, more light hearted, yet still true part of his phrase--" and so beautiful"-- completely serious-- "could not possibly be plain." He squeezed her hand gently. "Okay. So I told you I like music and I want to be a musician.. What about you?"

"I write." Elaina said with a shrug, trying not to completely giggle like a total bafoon at his compliments. "I guess since my mind is so A.D.D and over-imaginitive it's easy for me."

"Oh. That's cool. I don't know many people that like to write. But I guess lots of people don't like doing anything anymore," Christien said. "I write poetry, because it's like a song without a melody, but I wouldn't write books or anything. Especially because French books aren't usually very famous, but everyone reads English books. I learnt English partly because I wanted to be able to write and sing in it.."

"Oh," Elaina seemed to be pondering over everything she said in her mind while looking absent as she walked along with him. "I love animals," she added randomly, looking ahead still, "but bugs are one of my biggest fears."

Oh, can I ask you something quickly?

My avatar, is it Orianthi sitting on some steps with a black guitar or is it the cover for Believe?

It's what it should be on the wii, but it's the Believe cover on my PC, so I'm confused..

"I like animals. Even bugs. Well, I don't like then the way I like dogs or rabbits but I don't mind them being around. So don't worry, you'll have me to get rid of any for you," Christien grinned at her.

I thought it was Orianthi sitting on steps, I was going to tell you that I liked it. Lol

"Good," Elaina grinned right back then suddenly released a deep, exhausted sigh and looked and him meekly. "Sorry, I know we haven't gone long, but I have a really severe pain in my leg." She'd been trying to hide it by walking normally but it was growingly difficult.

Funnily enough, literally just after I posted, it changed on the PC, too, so it's all good.

Thanks =D

"So shall we stop, or should I carry you?" Christien smiled at her, tilting his head to the right slightly, looking questioning, and gesturing to her that he would carry her if she wanted by holding his arms out slightly.

Haha sure :)

"Well," Elaina blushed and looked at his outstreached arms. "I'd be too heavy." It was really a retarted excuse as Elaina was extremely small boned and lean but she didn't want him to have to do anything for her that he didn't want to.

"Okay, but just tell me when you get tired and we'll rest." Elaina said slowly and hesitantly before moving over a lot closer to to him to make it easier for him to pick her up.

"Honestly, I'm fine. I won't if you don't want me to and you'd rather sit. That's fine with me," Christien told her. He gently picked her up bridal style, without any trouble, just to see if she was okay with it.

Elaina felt perfectly comfortable in his arms so she wrapped her one arm around his neck while tucking her inujured arm like a folded wing against his chest. "Are you alright?" She asked, lips against his ear because she'd been hugging his neck as not to fall off.

"Never better. This way, I get to be really, really close to you," Christien assured her, "And you're easy to carry, I promise." And so he started off in the direction they'd been heading towards once again.

"You're so sweet." Elaina said quietly, kissing one spot on his neck, rather more caring than passionate. "So, will you tell me about the last girl? If it's too personal, it's fine. I just, have kind of been wondering."

"Well, there's not too much to say. We went out for about seven months, and I thought we were happy, and I thought it would last a long time," Christien began, his expression a bit distant as he recounted the story, "I thought she liked being with me, too, but I was wrong, I guess. I mean, I never believe rumours straight away, so when I heard that she was off with another guy, I thought it was all jealous talk. But the guy didn't know me personally, so when I happened to meet him one day.. I think we were at a music festival and I was getting drinks and he started talking to me, specifically about this girl he was.. Well, it wasn't exactly just silly cheating, it was serious stuff, like sex-- I'd just heard it was kissing and things. And I just asked a few questions, and he was a little drunk, so he happily told me it was a girl called Florentine and her boyfriend was 'some guy she said was called Christien'," he let go of her with one arm briefly to make quote marks with his fingers as he said it.

Elaina frowned and looked at him, studying his far-off but obviously sorrowful expression. "I'm so sorry." What else was there to say? She didn't know if there even was anything. Florentine didn't deserve him? Of course not. Elaina would never do that to him? Of course not; well, she hoped he knew that. But, the words didn't come, so she just nuzzled her nose in his neck and placed hopefully-comforting kisses along his shoulder.
