Alright... so im bumping this thread because im really annoyed at this process. i bought the infrared dongle and hated it and only managed to patch one file. so i returned that and bought the Palm Centro 690 as listed on this list and recommended by someone else... after spending 3 days fighting...

So I've been trying to patch my Tama p for awhile now. I started off with a USB dongle and hated it. Returned it and ordered the palm centro. Now I'm having issues with the files. I put the files on the micro sd and load it into the phone and the only thing the phone is reading is the read me...

i want to get a dream town... but i keep putting it off to try and see if they have it in the store vs ordering online... even though its cheaper online.

I paid 47something yen for my 4u+ preorder. That's about 39-50 bucks for it. Not including the shipping. So I think 50 is a reasonable price for a color Tama. A ds is 100+ to put things in perspective.

ive always been an animal lover... so the idea of a virtual pet was extremely appealing to me. :P i couldnt resist when i saw it in the store and read what it was.

unfortunatly my tamas sleep, pause or go to school a lot. :P but i work a full time job and a part time. :P

i was only able to download the first patch and got so frustrated i gave up... so right now its only partially in english. :/

I'm glad I'm not crazy! Lol I fidget a lot too and liked to poke or pick at it with my nail as well. Lol but I can agree the plastic probably is more durable. :3

I carry them in my purse in an eye glass case. I keep my p in a little drawstring bag to keep my TF from scratching it accidentally

I don't mind the change except I find the center button on my P isn't as responsive. I have to press down hard and it messes me up on games and stuff.
