Yes, they are real V4's, but WAY overpriced. The V4 is becoming very widespread now. Check your local stores. Target (in the US) currently has all tamas (V3 and V4) on sale for $13. KM

I would guess 3 times a day. I'm only basing that on the fact that the other tamas that have school and jobs (Entama and Uratama) go 3 times a day though. KM

If you have a present wrapped and ready to send, yet your tama gives something bad (like poo or snake, ect.) watch your tama. when he comes back to your screen, he'll immediately go down to the bottom of the screen with an embarrased, naughty look. Give him a time out! This is one way to rack up...

yes. press B to get to the time screen. Set the time for some time during the night (like 11pm). press B to go back to your sleeping tama and turn out the lights. Then, go Back to the time screen, and get it to the time setting spot. Leave it there on set. That will effectively pause it. KM
