    TMGC Nano

I don't particularly like the nano. I prefer to run a chibi/mini when I'm after something low-maintenance. The nano's screen is deep, and difficult to see compared to the chibi. I also prefer the characters on the chibi. I do like the physical appearance of the nano though - the shell designs...

    [Recommend Me!] Tamagotchi Friends?

Secondhand colour tamagotchis are easily found on eBay within the $20 - $30 price range :)

    [Recommend Me!] Tamagotchi Friends?

As a long time collector who grew up in the Connection era, I will say that I cannot stand the Tamagotchi Friends. Too many cutesy frilly characters, and the gameplay didn't remind me of older Tamagotchis at all. But if your sister plans on getting a Tamagotchi too, perhaps the TF is a good way...

What is the perfect Tama size for you?

Connections are perfect for me. The buttons are easy to press, and the device is pocketable for me. Vintages follow at a close second, though vintages are missing from your poll.

    Cheeks Chan?

The Cheeks Chan is ok. I have the Hello Kitty edition. The graphics are very, very cute, but in retrospect I probably should have put that $40 towards getting an iD or TMGC+C or something with replay value. I played with my Chan for one or two weeks, but I got rather tired of making money to...

    Tamagotchi Friends - Australia - March 2016

Wow, March is pretty soon. This is great news! I think $25 Aud is a reasonable price... although I do wonder whether these first wave shells will have the second wave's clearer screen. And here I was thinking I'd never be able to find the red Friends. Woohoo :ichigotchi:

    What is this Tamagotchi?

Wow, really? I could have sworn some of the other collectors had this set and could have helped you. Sorry I missed your post on those groups. Major congratulations to your friend. These Tamagotchis are really something! Thank you for the photos also - I have never seen these in so much detail...

    What is this Tamagotchi?

This is the king & queen V3 set - indeed rare and limited edition. I don't have these so don't know much about them, but if you don't find the information you're looking for, you should definitely post in the Facebook group "Tamagotchi Ancestors" as some other collectors should be able to...

    White and Yellow V1 Shell

I don't think your link works. Do you mean this one? Top left. https://www.bladesplace.id.au/bladeagotchi/tamplus-colours.htm It's a common design for the Tamagotchi Plus (Japanese language). There is also an identical shell for the V1, with "Tamagotchi" written on it. The English version of...

    P1 battery change

P1s have no memory function, so changing batteries will lead to a lost tamagotchi. If you're up for the challenge, you can try quickly changing the batteries. Vintage tamagotchis don't die immediately when batteries are removed - you have 3 - 4 seconds while the screen dims before it dies...

    Angelgotchi screen saver..?

Did all the batteries you tried come from the same company & batch? I've gotten a few dud packs of batteries in the past which led to problems with my tamagotchis. It is definitely worth trying a different batch of batteries, if you haven't already, in case it's just a problem with bad...

    Angelgotchi screen saver..?

Bizarre. Dying batteries usually lead to a gradual fading of the screen, not disappearance altogether like in your video. However, I did notice you had to reset the device at one point to get it to turn on, suggesting those batteries are getting flat. Have you tried different, new batteries?

    Please Help Me Understand V4.5

These questions have already been asked many times on this site in the past. If you use the Search function, there are numerous guides on Tamatalk for the V4.5, such as this one: https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/topic/148937-tamagotchi-v45-guide/, as well as this one for job specifics...
