The reason you weren't given the password was because you need to make the donation in 3 or more amounts. As hammie says- try donating 1point and another 1 point as that will make it 3 donations. This is an actual quote from tama-town;

you will never get a mimitchi from generation one I'm afraid- as they are even generations- so just take care of this and don't let it die- then treat your gen 2 really well and you might get a Mimitchi .

no- changing the clock backwards and forwards doesn't put it's age back. If you have had it running for 5 hours then it will have aged 5 hours regardless of the time on the clock.

The V2 costumes are different to the V3 costumes. The one use costume on the V2 is a Panda- the re-useable one is a Mimitchi 'type' costume. The one use costume on a V3 is a Nyatchi- the re-useable one is the Hohotchi.

Most items you need to be an adult to use. The easiest way to check is to just try it. If it lets you use it- you can- If it doesn't let you - you can't. you can use your teddy (V2?) now though, as long as you have a girl.

The Angelgotchi is the 'Angelgotch'(Japanese) and 'Tamagotchi Angel'(US) from 1997. They are no longer available new, but you can buy them from e-bay. Expect to pay at least $25+ though. Japanese one's are more readily found than US one's. Have a look at this page...
