I'm just needing some help in Windows Movie Maker. Once I drag a video to the clip to begin making a movie, how do I remove the music/audio from the video? I plan to make a Nintendo Tribute video and upload it on YouTube, but only if I know how to remove the music/audio from the videos. Thanks very much whoever knows how to remove the music/audio from the videos while modifying it in Windows Movie Maker.

I personally don't know but.. I would just start over.

Sorry, I use Windows Movie Maker all the time for projects, so I personally don't know how to work with the videos because they never upload for me.

Anyway, find another way to record it without the sound, I don't know how but you'll find a way.

Never mind, I know how to do it now. A guide may close this.

If you right hand click it to Silence you can silence it.

Mind you, I don't recommend WMM - when I tried to turn the Project into a video it kept hanging up because there wasn't enough RAM memory. Now I use "Nero Premiere" or something like that, which I must admit is quite better, a lot faster, doesn't hang up and exports very fast (and makes nice jobs and has nice effects).

What video format would it be saved as if I use Nero Premiere and have saved a movie I've finished on?

You can choose. It has a dropdown list so you could choose AVI, or "best format for DVD", or best "format for CD".

There are quite a few options down there. :D Plus, it is very fast saving (despite it saying it will take ages, it often takes much less), and its loading is close to instant, while Windows Movie Maker seems to take its time opening everything. Those are the main differences I have noted between the programmes.
