will the matchmaker ever come back ?

my tama got a visit from the matchmaker about 5 days ago( not exactly sure) and know he is an old man, and i want him to have a mate terribly. but the match maker wont come back. will she ever come back or wil my tama just never find a mate ?

The matchmaker does not come for old timers. However, if you or a friend has a tamagotchi that's the old woman character, they can mate. Otherwise, he will never be able to mate.
