HELP :(

i have had my tamagotchi for almost a week now. i had to run out and do some christmas shopping two days ago and put it in my pocket. i guess i did not hear the alert but about an hour went by before i left the store and check on her. when i did she had pooped and had doubled in size. did she get that way b/c i did not clean her poop fast enough? is their a possibility that the buttons got pushed in my pocket and she got fed too much? she is 3 days old and weighs 30 lbs. she got up to 33lbs by this morning. i have read on here that to get them to loose weight you should not feed snacks and make them play games. she refuses to play though. she has lost only 3 pounds. do the hunger hearts need to be full all the time? i got a mail a few min's ago and i think she just got a job but she refuses to go to work. i have read that you get like a panal and see o's if she passes the interview. does having her play with items help in weightloss? i also read that when she becomes an adult and goes to work that helps her to loose weight also.

someone please help

Hi kileigh, welcome to TamaTalk!

It sounds to me like she has evolved from a teen into an adult. That would explain the sudden weight gain. I don't know if you mean she doubled in size physically, or in terms of weight. Every character has what's known as a "base weight". In this case, it is 30lbs. She must be 3lbs or more over that base weight in order to play games, so she won't want to play if she's 30, 31 or 32 lbs, but she will play if she's 33lbs. A perfect game will make her lose 3lbs. Leaving the poop there did NOT cause the weight gain. If she's low on happy hearts, and is too light to play a game, it is then acceptable to feed the snack to gain the extra weight. A snack fills a happy heart, but snacks should not be used as an alternative to playing games if you want a healthy adult character.

Her hunger hearts do not necessarily have to be full all the time, but to get a good care character, it is wise to keep them full. And for your peace of mind too of course, if YOU were hungry, you'd eat! (At least, I hope you would :D )

To get her a job, when you click the [!] in the mail, she will leave and stand in front of a building, press A to scroll through some more (you can get a school, a restaurant, clothes shop etc) and when you see one you like the look of, press B. The picture of the building will disappear and the three judges will appear. As you know, 3 O's means she has got the job!

Playing with items does not help with the weight loss, but you are correct in saying that going to work will help her to lose weight.

I hope I've helped!

Lol, sounds like your starving your tama.

It just got bigger because it evolved from probably a teenager to an adult. It doesn't want to play games because it's underweight. So even though it may seem fat, it's really underweight; just feed it snacks and you can play some games.

i found in the tips and tricks a chart of the v4.5 characters. she looks like a horoyotchi. are these common? is their a "bad" tamagotchi to get? did i do something wrong to get this type? if not i will love her the same. i thought she was over feeding her because it looks as she is holding a bowl of rice like in that film in the theater in tama town. jeez...now i feel bad  . it just showed the guy that comes back and brings the ! . i guess i am not picking a job fast enough because when i jook at my instruction sheet to try to figure out what the jobs are she comes back home. thanks for all the help!

Yup! ^^

And personally, I don't think there is a "bad" Tamagotchi... but then again, I guess it's all just a matter of opinion.
