Why are people mean?

I have a friend who says mean things to another friend. She makes fun of her laugh and really can't take a joke, but jokes about everyone else. That is not right or is it?

Ya' know I am naturally mean. Some people are naturally mean and some are just stupid.

Some people are mean so they can feel better about themselves. Make them feel like they have more power over others. And it makes them feel good about themselves.

Kids just plain ARE mean. They're cruel to each other. You'll see it more when you're older and look at how kids treat others.

People like that bother me though.

Dish other people crap then are overly sensitive when they get it back.

I am not mean...a just have a short temper and I seem mean when I'm mad. A lot of people in my school are annoying, talking about all kinds of things. So I get mad easily...

Me and her had an argument over a Relay, she starts arguments over stupid stuff.

People are just like that.

It's a way of life.

She calls me emo all the time, from how I dress and the music I listen to.

But after Winter break, she comes back to school wearing a red and black skull jacket. I told her that if I would have worn something like that she would have called me emo all day, but she said she was only wearing it because her uncle baught it for her and she didn't want him to feel bad. Her uncle lives states away..

She also makes fun of me because I'm shorter than her and Nicole. I took it as a joke at first, but then she tried to have a conversation with her over my head. >.>

When people do that, they're most likely just trying to be funny and get a laugh out of somebody else.

Or at least that's how she acts.

Some kids are so cruel trust me one in 7th grade this boy kept calling me a man he was like you look like a man! And that pi**ed me off so I yelled at him and punched him in the neck. And he said my best friend was fat so I kicked him in his ding dongs and that was like a day after a hit him ( he never learns he's such a errr! ) * stops self from cursing *. Sorry spaz attack but he just ticks me off err! He's a eerrr!!! * punches hand * Ok I might need to cool off a bit sorry! And one a different kid called me a man and I punched him in the arm and now were friends O_O;;... Odd huh? Yea I'm not as sweet as you think .

Because it can be fun to be mean to people. Occasionally, anyway. Personally, I like to sarcastically harass people over the Internet.

But in person, I tend to be extremely shy unless I'm friends with you. Naturally, I don't pick on my friends, and since I don't talk to anyone else, I don't think I'm mean.

Some people are naturally mean. Or, sometimes they're just being mean to other people because they are under loads of stress. That happens sometimes. Especially if your parents are getting a divorce, or if something tragic happens. Anything that is able to put you under loads of stress. Sometimes when you are under stress you can lose control of yourself by being mean to other people. Or, if they don't have any friends they feel like expressing their anger by being mean to others. =/
