Ok I am new here but not to Tamagotchis, though I haven't really had one since v1 and v2 or whatever, lol. Which should I get? v4/4.5, v5/5.5, or v6/musicstar?? My sisters have music star and it seems fun but when I read posts about sending your tamagotchi to school and getting a job that sounds fun too! So basically which is the best one out of the 3?

As far as having the most to do and the better games, I would say the v6 Music Star is a good one to get, also it's pretty well priced being new.

I have a Music Star and a v5, the Familitchi, but the v5 isn't as fun - no matter how much i love it - simply because they are content for hours and the games aren't as fun to play with your Tama's, but you can have any of 1, 2, or 3 baby Tama's per generation, and that's a great point.

I hope this helps a little!

Thank you ♥ I'll probably end up getting music star but the school and job thing sounded pretty cool. And if I get music star I can play with my sisters who have it. If anyone has more info on v5 and v4 can you please tell me? I looked up some info but I'd like to hear what people who have it think of it.

I'm not sure about the V5 and Music Star, but I have used the V4. It is pretty cool to be able to go to school and choose a job. It has really good games also. I would have to say that it was the most popular between my friends and I. I hope this helps!

Also, I'm not sure if this is true for all V4 Tamagotchis, but the batteries in mine lasted for almost a year which was pretty good because I didn't have to worry about switching the battery every three months.

That's pretty cool! Can you still put your character online like the v5 and music star?

Well, here it goes for me and my long llist of Tamagotchi v5 information XD

The Tama v5 Familitchi is actually a really fun Tama. The main feature is the fact that you start out with three eggs instead of the normal one. The three eggs hatch rather quickly and you get to raise three baby Tama's till adulthood where you have the decision to marry one of the Tama's off and start another generation of your family! The sad thing is that you may only marry one of the Tama's off, and when you do the other two siblings fly off in the UFO to the TamaPlanet. They kind of just disappear.

The first icon you deal with is all the information on your Tama's, the 5 Happy and Hungry hearts, the family information (Blended Family, Large Family, Petite Family, or Ninja Family) though only the Blended family is a product of good care, the other three are technically from neglect. After the family information comes the three Tama's, their types and if they are a boy or a girl each. When your on a second generation, the mother and father will also be visible here, their types and so on. Also included in the family information is the Bonding Percent - how bonded the family is. depending on how high the bond level, the animation you see when you press C will change, and when you marry your Tama's off the percent determines how many baby Tama's your new couple will produce, being one two or three eggs.

The feeding option is fun because, when you make Gotchi points through the games on the Tama and online in Tamagotchi Town, you can buy new meals and snacks, and even items to play with - including rare items that make your Tama's super happy. Feeding meals will fill Hungry hearts, and feeding snacks will fill the Happy hearts. Though, of course, do not over feed your Tama's or you will get the Large family and have to get certain items to get them back to normal, same if the Tama's are starved and turn into the Petite Family.

Unlike the Large and Petite families, the Ninja family is created not from food problems, but from happiness neglect. If their Happy hearts remain empty and they are only at about 3 Hungry hearts for a long while they will turn into the ninja family, which - personally - I think are adorable and I get them on purpose sometimes.

It's easy to get your families back to normal and blended by these items

Ninja Family:

Whistle

Steamed Bun (pastry with a heart on it)

Large Family:

Balance Biscuit

Mirror

Petite Family:

Magnifying Glass

And that's about it for the families themselves.

There are 4 total games on the Tama v5. TV surfing, tea time, golf putt and shoes pairs. However, you can only play the second two games with a 2nd generation family because you need the mother and the father for them. In TV surfing, you match the picture in the corner with the picture on the screen. Tea Time - serve the tea to the right glasses by clicking on the button below the cup. Golf Putt, line up your shot and balance it right to get a hole in one. Shoe Pairs, match the shoe from the bottom to the one that the momma is holding up. Each time, you get points to use in the Shopping Channel for food and items, based on your performance of course. It ranges from Ok, Good, Great, Excellent!

The heart icon lets you connect to other Tama's or to the internet, TamaPlanet. There, you enter the log in code, and then log out to collect all of your points and such from the games you play online. the scores are the same.

When the Training icon appears, you only click it when the Tama's call for you, and you look and see either a ? bubble above their heads or a music note because their singing. When you catch the training icon, you can click on on of three activities. The more times you train with your Tama's, the higher the bonding percentage goes, and you can raise it to 100%. Also, besides the amount of Tama's your married Tam's can have, the percentage also improves the scores you get for playing games with other Tama's. The higher the percent, the better you play! Also, there is a code option where you enter 10 digit codes to get free items, it's kinda a cheat, but the items aren't always in the Shopping Channel, so it works.

The Chest icon allows you to give your Tama's medicine when they are sick, use the items you buy in the Shopping Channel, the souvenirs that you buy, and even Rare items that you purchase or enter in the code option.

The TV gives you three options - the Dating Channel! where you can marry your Tama to a Tama of your choice by selecting him/her from the matchmaker's given boys/girls. Keep in mind that your Tama may only marry and use the channel as an Adult, and must have been an Adult for 48 unpaused hours, or two days. The Shopping Channel is where you buy your food and items. The Travel Channel is where you go to go on pause, it's the Familitchi's pause option, where you get an animation of the places that they visit! and their funny car XD

As for the book icon, it's the memory, where you may visit the book and see your friends that your connect to, or the past Tama's, the ones that have died/returned to their planet.

the last icon simply means "ATTENTION!" and normally means your Tama needs food or happiness :)

I hope this helps for the Familitchi v5!

I'll give you a link for the Music Star ~<3
