it actually depends on which version of tamagotchi it is. if its v1, v2, or v4, then tamagotchi is better. if it's v3, than neopets is better.

I really didn't like my neopet...I had an aisha and it wasn't all that entertaining. I'd have to go with tamagotchis

i think tamagotchis are better, i dont like v3's though they were boring, well sorry to say that they were boring, but i just had to say it to somebody!
