Which is better?

My friend and I are looking to do a Tamagotchi exchange this Christmas. We both haven't purchased a Tamagotchi since the original v4 came out, because of school work among other things. Here's our problem :

We're not sure if we should get the v5 or the Music Star.

If you could help us out, it would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Yup. The Music Star is much more interesting. I have the V5 and it is like, sooo boring.

I think I will vote for music star.....although mine which I ordered have not arrived yet. becos V5 is so boring and difficult to play, I'm sick of it after playing for 3 gens~~

Dude music star for sure, the V5 may be one of the most annoying things ever. Basically take everything about Tamagotchis that you liked and throw it out the window and you'll have a V5. You only get two games with the V5 both of which are basically the same timing involved games. Then two, in my opinion, sexist games which you play with the parents of your tama which are basically again timing games. You can't name the tama, it takes forever to get enough money to buy anything, and then when you do get enough you don't know what you are buying because nothing has names on it. Basically the only thing the V5 is good for is to make me start ranting... Besides that not only are the music star games super fun, the cases are awesome no longer is there an antenna sticking out being all annoying. You get to name your tama and know what its type is I could just go on and on but this already is bordering TL;DR...

I'd say the music star even though I haven't gotten one yet. It has a wide screen like the v5, but it has one character like the other tamagotchis.

On the v5, your tamagotchi didn't keep track of your pet's weight, so like you could keep feeding until it's full, but you're not forced to play games to make it lose weight, which bored me a bit because I wasn't motivated to play with my tamagotchi.

Ha. Funny story, actually XD

I just came back from a vacation and was going to Tamagotchi.com to show my friend the v5 designs. So I go to products and there are, right in front of me, this weird v2 looking tamagotchi that says "Music Star" . I was like "this wasn't here when I left" SO I did some investigation.. No, more than investigating. I was STALKING this tama O____O;; I spent about 11:40am - 6:07pm central time finding all the information I could.

I've had my v5 since the begining of this year, so I'm pretty an expert on it by now, but through 7 hours (roughly) of observation I do believe the Music Star tamagotchi is by far much better ^^; But its your choice , of course.
