Which Connection Would You Choose?

Hi everyone,

I currently have what I believe is a Tamagatchi Connection 2. I don't know for sure if it's a V1 or V2, but it's a green one that has sort of bricks on it? Anyways, I am going to be getting a new battery put in it and will finally be starting it back up again. But, I have also been thinking about getting a new one, to try out all of the new things, and I wanted to know what Connection type you guys thought I should try next? I actually heard that the V4 was often preferred over the V5-what do you guys prefer, and why? Thanks in advanced to everyone! I know I'll have fun on here.

I much prefer the v5 over the v4. The v4, in my opinion, was too jam-packed with jobs and schooling and super long games (Mimic for example lasted 3 minutes).

It sounds like you have a green matrix design Tamagotchi. I think it's a v1. When you start it up, check the games menu- v1 has Dance and Jump, v2 has Jump and later on Bump, Heading and Slot are unlocked.

Personally i'd reccoment V4.5. You dont HAVE to send your tamagotchi to school,or work,its just something to add in after youve already grown bored with your tamagotchi.And you can play the cloud game,jump up only 5 clouds,at a lesurly pace,so if you can give it your FULL concentration you can still let your tama loose 1 pound,and gain 1 happy heart at a fairly reasonable rate. On the V4 jump is the same way,but you need to keep a really close eye one it. )= and on the V5 in essential,you are only taking care of one tamagotchi AND [SIZE=14pt]YOU CANNOT CONNECT WITH OLDER VERSIONS![/SIZE] which is half the fun of having 2+ tamagotchi! D=<

Thanks you guys-yeah, I did some more reading, and found out that mine IS a V1. I think that I may get the 4.5, because I don't really like the idea of a whole family...I don't know why, I just like one. lol! Plus, I would want to connect them with each other. BTW, mine is a Green Matrix one.

I used to have that one!!! Then when I got a V3 i gave it to my bestfreind. Now I have an orange bursts V1.(in my avvie)

I have a v2, a v4.5, and a v5 all active--v5 is the best. it's no extra work over 1 character, and you get to play the games as many times as you want (you don't have to make your pet fat by feeding it treats in order to play). Great for wasting time while standing in line!

I have a v5, two v4.5's and a v4. From what I've observed, is that the favorite tamagotchi kind of depends on personal preference.

The v4 has better games, I think, than the v5, as well as better (cuter) characters. It is also quite difficult to get the main characters (Mametchi, Mimitchi, Memetchi, Kuchipatchi, etc.) on a v4.5, and on the v4, it can be quite easy if you take good care of your tamas and they have a good amount of intelligent points. But other than that, the v4 and v4.5 are very much the same.

The v5, however, is muuuuch different than either the v4 OR the v4.5. The most obvious difference being that there is a family of THREE tamagotchis rather than just one to take care of. The games are rather bleak, and personally, they are my least favorite. You don't really get much points for them, either. Although, the money fault can be repented for by the fact that there is a whole list of universal item cheats for the v5, meaning you can get anything you desire. However, for those who don't like cheats, they're still in the same bad situation. If you can't tell, I'm not a big fan at all of the v5 However, it has a higher action level to do the various things that come with it, like the bond percentage, for example, for people who like having more options on their tamagotchi.

Yeah, basically, it kind of depends on what you would like, personally. Everyone is sort of different, although I've heard a lot say that they like the v4 or v4.5 better than the v5. *shrugs*
