There is the link! I think Admin has somehow changed the chat in order to use less bandwidth due to recent problems!

Admin was keeping that Chat open during the week on "a semi-permanent basis". I think the removal of "Open Weekends" means that TamaChat will be open all the time now - .

You can also get there from here by placing your mouse pointer on Site Map in the navigation bar at the top of the page. A pop-down menu will appear. Place your mouse pointer on the entry for TamaTalk Extras. Another menu will pop open. Click on Tamagotchi Chat in that menu.
