when will my tamagotchi sing or do something

can anyone tell me hw to make my tamagotchi do somethin special or is it happen randomly???

Tamagotchi's will sing, play with something another tamagotchi has given them, take a bath (etc...) by themselves, if you don't touch them for some while.
