What was the first disaster you remember?

The first one I heard is that tsunami in sri lanka 3 years ago. then a year later I heard about 9/11. then I heard about that cyclone in darwin in 1970 something. and my sister told me the first she heard about was that these snowboarders were stuck in a pile of snow and were barely alive. wow. so many....

The first one I remember hearing about was the Oklahoma City Bombing back in 1995. I visited the site in November of last year.

Cyclone Tracy in Darwin, September eleven, The tsunami in Sri Lanka, Cyclone Larry in Innisfail last year.

Those are the worst I've heard of so far.

Oh yeah did you know theres already been 3 cyclones in Western Australia in a month? and there was a tsunami warning in Queensland about 6 hours ago but there not sure. O.O Im glad I live in Victoria or I would've been already flying to New Zealand even if theres volcanoes there.

in 1999 when i was 6 there was an earthquake in turkey... i cant remember any disasters from earlier.

September 11, 2001 is the first disaster I remember I remember coming out of school and everyone ducking when seeing a plane. Though back then I was a first grader and had no clue what was going on when waiting for my bus to arrive. Then some kid told us and we all did not believe him. Then when I got home I asked my mom and it was all true
