What makes you read a topic?

What makes you read a topic? The title, catch phrase, member posting it, being pinned or locked?

If I find a topic that's been locked, I always read that first. I like reading what was said to make it need to be closed.

Other than that, if I find a topic by someone I like, I'll read it.

Also:

If I find something that could strike controversy.

If I find a topic by someone I really don't like.

If the title is something not seen very often.

If I see something with a title/subtitle that implies someone's complaining about a problem, I don't bother reading it.

The topics that I tend to read are those with quite intresting titles that make you want to read on. For instance ' You'll never guess what! ' or ' OMG ' or ' What the heck! ' on the other hand topics like ( Ok Im exaggerating ) like ' I watched the news' or ' Im going to school '
