Your second post is an awesome example of SPAM.
SPAM is Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages.
Basically, anything annoying that has no relevence to the topic at hand.
Karma is a way of punishing people for bad deeds, and rewarding them for good.
People who are really helpful and make good posts have a good chance of getting Green, or good Karma, where as someone who spams a lot is more likely to get Red, or bad Karma.
