What if my Tama dies?

So im an owner of a tamagotchi P's.

It starts off pretty basic and i know that there are a lot of things to unlock.

so my question is: if my tama dies, will i be able to keep my progress? like items i bought and locations i have unlocked?

You will be able to keep your progress. Just press A and C or A and B (can't remember which combination) to get a new egg
