What happens when batteries run out?

[SIZE=11pt]i was just wondering what happens to a Tamagotchi pet when it runs out of batteries. does anyone know? [/SIZE]

You put in new batteries, an egg will appear and then you press B and you can chose to either reset or download your previous character. At least I'm pretty sure that's what happens. It's happened before on one of my earlier versions so that's how I would know.

A sign flashes indicating that you are low on batteries. When it totally runs out, the Tamagotchi blacks out.
