a thing came up on my tama and it was something with an X in front of it! was it the battery or something else?

that means the battery is dying. just go to the store where you bought it and go to where the watches are and tell them what size the battery is and they will give you a new one. if you dont know what size it is you can ask them if they can check. they usually do it.

The battery is dying.

Just FYI, all Tamagotchi Plus/Connexion models take batteries called "CR2032"

The battery is running low, you need to change it.

But you can still save your tamagotchi, change the batery and press "B" when the egg appears on screen, then press "Download".

That will take you back to your previoud Tamagotchi.

You can't *lose* your Tamagotchi as long as you hit RESET and then DOWNLOAD
