Be more specific...There are two Golden Tamagotchis.
One is a real Tamagotchi. The other is a souviner on your V3 Tamagotchi.
You get the one for V3 by entering the toy shop in the mall in TamaTown.
It will ask you to find a small list of items found through TamaTown.
The real Golden Tamagotchi was actually for a contest which is over with.

Ok, if you mean the virtual souvenier for the tamagotchi, check the school, the travel place, the cafe, the arcade, and the shops in the mall. You will find 10 items in these places. They are a scavenger hunt for the golden tamagotchi, sorta. When you found them all and clicked on them return to the toy store. Click on the golden tamagotchi poster. Then read instructions.
If you mean the actual golden tamagotchi that you can play with then try eBay. There were only 2500 made, and they were given only to the winners of the october contest. I'm sure you could find one on eBay, however they are really pricey. Hope this helps!
