For me its just eh... Ok. Then again I have Entamas(Japanese tamagotchi, V4 was made to look like them) so that might have something to do with it. My List:
V4:
Pros:
Cute animations
Abilty to chose a teacher and go to school
Abilty to choose a Job type
Can connect with V1, V2, and V3
Every Job comes with its own game.
Can shop on TamaTown(really don't use this feature myself)
Can Travel
Cons:
Characters can be any gender except for Old Timers and the Babies. Some of the V4 characters are femine looking, such as Meidotchi, Young_Dorotchi, and Ponitchi. Don't think they would look right as a male character.
If you've purcased items on the TamaTown V4 site it waits to the very end to give you all the codes for the items all at once. I found this annoying.
They have taken away the Kissing animation when to Tamagotchi in love connect.
Need better Shell designs
