what can you say about tamagotchi music star it is fun,rocks,awesome,boring,or totally cool??

Gosh, I really hate the Music Star sometimes.

The fact that they are turning a pet into a pop-star is really annoying. REALLY annoying.

The games are fun, the characters are cute, but its hard to enjoy the Tamagotchi unless your band is very successful, which takes a lot of time and can become very tedious.

At times I've loved the Music Star; others, I've hated it.

My feelings for the Music Star are very ambiguous, as you can probably tell.

Random Notes:

-Making money is very difficult, and you constantly have to buy food for your Tama, so keep that in mind (playing games doesn't win you money anymore)

-Music Stars can have babies with V5's, which is very nice

-The buttons on most Music Stars suck.

-Music City can be very lonely

-All of the designs for the Music Star are very pretty :furawatchi:

-You have to make sure your Tamagotchi practices it's instrument, which can get very annoying

Over-all, its a pretty decent Tamagotchi.

I think Bandai-America came up with this one all by itself, considering it was originally exclusive to the U.S. That explains some of the icky, lame features this Tamagotchi has xD The Japanese definitely know what they are talking about when it comes to Tamagotchi & electronics in general.

To be honest, my Music Star was the biggest mistake I've made in my life. The buttons are really unresponsive, and mine is really slow, and when I change the batteries, I have to shake and hit it to get it started. There also aren't that many NEW features, and personally, the Music Star STINKS. I know you might think I'm just complaining, but this gets really REALLY annoying after a while. If your thinking about getting a Tamagotchi, you might want to get a v5, or a v5.5 (v5 Celebrity). My v5.5 is really good.

I have to say I'm not really fond of it either.

:furawatchi: The buttons have to be pressed really hard to register. Not only that but, i was expecting alot more characters, so i was really dissapointed when i stumbled apon the Growth chart for the music star, and saw there were actually very little characters. I think with some tweaking the music star could have been pretty good, but it really failed to meet expectations.....

By the 3rd generation, you just don't want to play anymore, because its too repetitive, and there's not really many characters to strive for...

I would probably give the music star 4/10, as the idea was good enough, but didn't really WOW anybody.

There has to be more people that likes music stars, second replyer, your tama maybe dosen't work too good just BECCAUSE you've hit it, thought of that?

Also, you can dislike them if you want, but, just beccause you dislike them you don't have to invent strange predjudices like:

Isn't there anybody else thhan me who likes it, I think it's super Cewl!!! I see this with bying the food as a plus, and this with it calling for you when it practises might be a bit annoying, but isn't that the thing about tamagotchis overall, it wouldn't have been so fun if tamas never needed your help, would it?

I think it's cool when they grow to be stars, and still, below it all I still see the classic charachters, like both mametchi, memetchi, kutchipatchi, tarakotchi shimashimatchi togetchi and many others are still there...

And then the buttons work fine if you don't punch them down in frustration, like try a more loose way...

I like them alot!

I didn't invent some strange prejudice. I just stated my opinion which is that the Japanese are pretty much the best when it comes to electronics. Is there anything wrong with me stating that? No.

I don't like being quoted, especially in a negative way.

And I don't dislike them THAT much. Before I said that, I said that it was over-all a pretty decent Tamagotchi.

You don't have to blow up because someone doesn't agree with you.

And if you want everyone to "have their own decisions about tamagotchis", than why are you freaking out when someone dislikes the Music Star?

I think the Music Star is okay; you love it. Some people hate it. Who cares what other people think? Those are THEIR opinions. You're still allowed to think what you want.

All I'm saying is, let people think what they want without heavily criticizing them. I'm not trying to make you mad or insult you, I'm just sayin'. No hard feelings?

I honestly am kind of surprised that the majority of the posts in this thread are against the Music Star, because most people I've talked to LOVE it.

But also, when I wrote this about "their own desiscions", it was actully meant most for the third replyer, that I think seemed more upset than me, I meant he/she told people not to buy them, just beccause he/she does dislike them, and that's were it comes to, everybody can make their own desicsions, but don't tell people they will dislike it just beccause you do...

Oh, I happened to count the topic starter as a "replyer" Check tamagotchi-ashu's post, in the end he kinda tells people not to buy music stars, but, like v5, or v5.5.

I like it alot, I think its an awsome idea, and Bandai did an excellent job of executing that idea. The only thing i do NOT like about the music star, is that it doesnt have an antennae....!

It's OK, but it gets boring after a while.
