Ban Dai sells those cute little Tama pouches with Ringotchi, Mimitichi, Itchigotchi, so on, and they may be cute but a little bit pricy sometimes. Well, that's what I thought, so I Googled and Googled until I finally found the perfect solution--weave a Tama pouch! It can also be a coin purse! :furawatchi: Here are the materials you will need:
- Anything you can weave with (yarn is easiest but since I had no yarn I am using embroidery thread)
- Cardboard
- A tapestry needle (or any needle, really)
Here is a website that shows results of this project and has the instructions: https://taliesin.confabulation.com/~workstead/coin.html
The benefits of this Tamagotchi holder are:
- You can trick teachers into thinking it's just a coin pouch and if they ask to prove it make sure you have some coins in there and show them.
- If you drop your Tama (we all do that, right?) it won't get hurt or break
- Your Tamagotchi will be comfortable
- You can keep this coin purse in your purse, pocket or anywhere!
I'd recommend using yarn because the embroidery thread is taking a long time to weave because of how thin it is, though. It's really helpful and when I finish weaving mine (it's orange, blue and yellow so far) I'll take pictures and put them on here. I hope you like this idea!
