Welcome to Volentchi's Tama Log!

As this is my first ever log, allow me to give some information about my love of Tamagotchis. My first ever Tamagotchi I had was a blue Connection V2 in 2004. I went on to own a Connection V1, V3, V4, Music Stars. I moved house about 10 years ago and with all the house moving I forgot about them. They went into a safe place which was so safe that to this day I cannot find them!

I remembered about them when I saw Tamagotchi Friends at my local toy shop. I bought one, but the size and dark screen made it hard to enjoy. It made me want to buy a Version 2 again as that was my favourite to date.

So I did exactly that. I found one that was cheapish online as the seller said it worked well 10 years ago. But it hasnt been used for 10 years or so.

My V2 arrived in the mail today! And without any delay I popped the battery in. Sure enough it works! I was curious to press download and see what happens. But nothing good came from it. So I reset it!

Heres my Tamagotchi in all its glory!

Out of the egg hatched a baby girl who I named Aura!!!



After an hour Aura evolved into Marutchi. I like all the toddlers on this connection, but Marutchi is one of my fav!



Im aiming for a Mametchi or a Ginjirotchi, they're my two favourite. But I've learnt you should expect the unexpected and with a busy week ahead, she could evolve into pretty much anything! Aura had a good baby stage, filled with lots of Jump. Shes got 1/9 in training and is 11LBS. Shes being monitored regularly.

Today was one of the busiest days - so I cant upload photos as it was exhausting as well as busy. There will be photos tomorrow as the way the V2 grows is:

It turns from Baby - Toddler an hour after being named.

Toddler - Teenager a day later.

Teenager - Adult 3 / 4 days later. So there's plenty of time to get photos! Nevertheless I can provide a written log!

Because of my busy day, I felt it would be a good idea not to bring it with me. Pausing the Tamagotchi slows the evolution down, so instead I altered the clock. All up Aura got to spend 19 hours in bed.

I thourght I altered the clock so I could watch the evolution, but I got the maths wrong and it turned out I was 47 minutes too late. Aura evolved into a UFOtchi. Fortunately it evolved and went back to sleep. Marutchi wakes at 8am, UFOtchi wakes at 9am.

I dont mind the result, the last time I had a UFOtchi many, many years ago I got a Ginjirotchi from it, I like all the odd generation teenagers, except for Oniontchi. I used to have it so often Im sick of it!

At present Aura is 1TYO (Tama Year Old - they age a year everyday) weighs 23LB, her training bar is 4/9. Ginjirotchi is a "Good Care" adult so Im hoping to get the bar around 7 / 8. Also in the Good Care tier is Kuchipatchi and Pochitchi.

We shall see! Aura is still being monitered regularly, photos will be coming tomorrow!

Hi there!

As promised here are some photos. Currently I dont have any items so I cant do any animation photos. The reason behind it is because the shop isnt selling anything decent. Yesterday all it had was 4 bow ties!

I always like seeing Tamagotchi's sleeping. Some of them can look really cute! So here is a photo of Aura sound asleep on the very first night (when she was still a Marutchi!)



And here is a photo of her last night, sound asleep as a UFOtchi!



Aura has now turned 2TYO, and she doesnt look a year older (literally!) Her training bar was 7/9, but as I write this log she had a callout and now her training is 8/9 and shes 26LB.

The training bar will stay at 8/9, with the hopes of getting the exact Tama I'm after. Shes been monitered regularly! The only tiny set backs is she's had 4 toothaches, all unintentionally, I just wanted to spend time with Aura and play games! Twice was when she was a Marutchi, twice as a UFOtchi - none today though! Also her hearts dropped by one 2 or 3 times, maybe 4. And her light was left on for 47 minutes from when she evolved. But besides that she's been well looked after!

I am back!!

Aura is now 4TYO and is still happily flying around as a UFOtchi! Aura should be evolving today. On one hand its exciting to see what adult I get, on the other hand I enjoyed spending time with UFOtchi. Ill miss it! Hopefully I get it again soon!

Aura still has 8 training bars. But to try and aim for the tama Im after, its been like that on purpose. Aura has given me a few opportunities to get that 9th bar!



Theres also been two further setbacks, the first was he had another toothache (unintentionally of course!) And the other being was I caught Aura having a bath!



She looked happy! So I didnt really want to disturb her.



I left her to carry on, I thourght her bedtime was at 9PM so I thourght I'd check on her a little later. Only thing is her bedtime was 8PM and she had a poop. So the next time I looked at her, she was asleep next to a pile of poop. But the plus side is she was still completely full, and completely happy!

Ill have the news of what she evolves into tomorrow!

Hello Im back! Firstly thank you to everyone who has visited to have a read of my log! Which now has 154 views!

Aura evolved into an adult yesterday! Shes now 5TYO. Shes now a.... *drum roll*...

-TADA!-



Nyorotchi! So it seems the 5 toothaches she had might have played a part in the evolution of the adult. To be honest the result wasnt quite what I was expecting - but Aura seems happy being a Nyorotchi so thats something!



I cannot remember if I've ever had a Nyorotchi before. But Nyorotchi reminds me of three things!

The face reminds me of Kuchipatchi - as its eating, sleeping, emotions and movements are identical!

Its head reminds me of Kuchitamatchi. It looks very much alike!

When Nyorotchi says no to something its tail is shaped a bit like the poop symbol.

Nyorotchi is a average care tama. On odd generations, other tamas in this tier include Kasatchi and Tarakotchi, both I have had, and can remember having! I like Nyorotchi!

Aura weighs 33LB at the moment. We've played several games of Heading, Bump, Jump and Slot! And now the shop is beginning to stock better items! So the gotchi points are going up and down like a rollercoaster!
