Virtual Pet?

I was given a 'Virtual Pet' by a friend, and I have no idea how to work it, or what to expect of it. She also gave me a 'Digi Pet' as well, and that's alittle confusing.

But... I'm concerned more about the 'Virtual Pet'.

Currently its just a little ball. When will it evolve?

Does anyone else own one that can tell me what to expect?

I once had one in a different shell and I've got some info on them,

they are just a cheap multi-pet but if you are carefull(don't drop it) it can sort of be fun to look after.

they do not evolve, but when they turn 4 there is a wheather function. it snows,rains or gets realy sunny.you need to give the pet a scarf,an umbrella or a cap(the icon that looks like an umbrella is the wheather icon)at age 1 he can play games(icon like a cd), and at age 7 he can go to school(icon that looks like a book). I hope this will help

Do they have a "dance feature"? The icon looks like boots. That's a shame they dont evolve, my old 8 in 1 had evolving pets.
