V6 screen problems

Hello I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with the V6's screen being so dark. I can hardly see a thing even when I change the contrast. I almost have to have a light directly over the Tama to see. But I can see just fine on my V3. Did Bandai change the reflective paper in the Tamas or is it just a bad screen? Will changing the background help at all? Thank you all for your time.

I don't know. Has it been dark all the time or did it change to dark? If its been dark since you bought it, its just dark. They made it dark. If it changed... I have no idea.

It's been like this for a while now, but it was fine when I first pulled the tab out. Now it looks like the glass is really dirty. I cleaned it thinking that might be the problem but it still looks bad. I hope I don't have a bad screen or something.

My American V5.5 has the same problem. I think the screen is smoky, not clear. I don't know.

Take it a part,but be very care ful and clean the screen from the inside.And I didnt think the V6 had a contrast option.If that doesnt work get a new one

Mine is the same, but I don't know what you mean about it seeming dirty. Mine doesn't seem like it's dirty or smoky, it's just really hard for me to see without being in direct light. i almost want to take that piece of cardboard out and put in like a white piece of paper so that I can see better

Set the contrast to the lightest. If that doesn't work, take it apart with extreme care and clean the screen. If it still doesn't work, then contact BanDai on what happened.
