OK, I found a special "Matchmaking Time" for the V4, plus the approximate marrying age. Here's all the info:
Marrying Age: 6
Matchmaker Time: 6:00 PM. Don't set it to this time, set it to 5:59 PM.
Note: Set it to 5:59 as soon as your pet turns 6. I don't know if older Tamas have different Matchmaker times, so do it when it's 6!
This was all found by me by experimenting with my own V4.
