What IS a v4?
A V4 is a kind of tamagotchi that was world released in late 2006-early 2007.
It has more features then the V3, and can hold more Gotchi Points then the V3.
A V4 has a "antennae" on the top of it with a big sphere on top of the "antennae"
Where can I purchase a V4?
You can purchase a V4 at a store near you that contains toys and electronics.
You can also purchase/order a V4 online, or bid for V4s that are on auction.
Here are two sites you COULD order/purchase/bid on V4s: eBay and Amazon But there are MANY, many, many more sites you can purchase/order/bid on V4s.
These are some places you can buy or get a V4.
Can a V4 connnect to the V3?
Yes, it can. Both V4 and V3 need to select OTHER in the Connection Icon, put the two tamas together, then connect.
IS there a V4 Tamatown, like a V3 Tamatown?
Yes, there is. Go to Tamatown.com and the way into V4 Tamatown is
the purple cloud that reads, "ENTER Tamagotchi Town with your V4 or V4.5 toy"

Here are the V4 Shop Codes that can be entered in the V4 tamagotchi:
BBCA CCCA = Pen = 15,000 gp (Can be found in the US V4 instruction sheet)
BAAB ACBA = !! (clone)= 14,000gp
ACAB ACAC = Steak= 1,400gp
BAAB ACBA = !! (clone)= 14,000gp
CCBA AABB = Honey (love potion)= 7,000gp
CAAA BACB = CD3= 0gp

If you enter all five shop codes, the last one you enter, the prize you receive will not be the item listed above, it will be a RARE CELL PHONE. But, if you would still like to get the item that was usually given by entering that code, enter it again and get the item.
How to Enter V4 Shop Codes, from the v4 intro sheet:
Pen: This is the same as the V3, you can use it as many times as you would like, and your tamagotchi character will do different animations while using it. Also, there is the one-use pencil.
!! / Clone: This item can be used from the very early stages of your tamagotchi character, it will transform into your current character and dance for a bit then dissapear, like the V3.
Steak: The favourite food of all characters, like the V2 and V3, but each character still does have its food like and dislike along with the steak.
Honey / Love Potion: Using this will make your character speedily fall in love with another character from v2, v2, or v4. One-use.
CD 3Can only be "listened to" when you have the STEREO item. It can play music when you have the STEREO.

RARE CELL PHONE: You will need to insert a valid 8 digit code ( < = A O = B > = C ) to ring your family or other characters. Numbers will be listed further into the guide. Your character must be an adult to use this special item.

How to basically use the Rare Cell Phone Rare Cell Phone:
1. Your character must be an adult or older to use this item.
2. Find the rare cell phone in your item inventory and select it. (with A) The cell phone will appear on the screen next to your character.
2. Enter the cell phone number by pressing A, B, or C buttons in the orders shown above to call the character. After the last, or eighth, digit has been entered, the call will go through, and if you entered the right number, you will see the character you dialed. if you did not enter it correctly, you will hear a beeping sound.

Here are the two passwords that can give you a Slide and a Playhouse for your character to play with:

After your tama wears the Royal Costume, you'll see this on the screen:

This password is for the Tamagotchi Connection Corner Shop 2 video game for the Nintendo DS.
Enter this password into Corner Shop 2 to be able to get a Nintendo Wii. (That's what resources say)
To receive the Royal Costume item, you must donate 200,000 GP to the Gotchi King, then visit him three times to get all three Royal Souvenirs. After you get the third Royal Souvenir, the Royal Costume should be in your item inventory.

[SIZE=14pt]Mailbox[/SIZE]
One new feature on the V4 is a mailbox.
It is the icon that looks like an enevelope, at the bottom middle of the screen.
There are three kinds of mail:
Fortune Stars (looks like a star)
! Letters (looks like an envelope with a ! on it)
Plain Letters (looks like a plain envelope)

Fortune Stars:
You can select this type of mail anytime.
Your fortune will change if the mail man comes and the MAIL icon and blinking, and so is the Fortune Star icon.
You can get one, two, or three stars for GP, Health, and Love.
GP
If you get THREE hearts on this one, you will gain 500 CP instead of 400 CP when you are the champion of the V4 games. The two star and one star don't really do anything now as far as I know....
Health
If you get THREE hearts on this one, getting sick is LESS likely for your character. ONE heart means the opposite, obviously is means your character is MORE likely to get sick. Two hearts is the usual likeliness.
Love
If you get THREE hearts on this one, your character MAY fall in love faster and mate (if possible then) quicker.
One heart most likely means it will take more time for your character to fall in love or mate (if possible then)

!! Letters
You may receive !! letters the mail man gives you. These are important, for jobs, and more.
I am still not completely certain about this kind.

Plain letters
You will receive these many times. These may contain snakes, which upset and make your tama unhappy, you may receive hearts for some reason, which makes your tama happy, you may receive some things from the Gotchi King, which is pretty cool, it is an honor for the Gotchi King to visit you.
