V4: Free food in Tamatown

I have been collecting free food in Tamatown, for example, there are free chocolate bars and lollipops on the counters of some stores....but when I enter the code into the password screen after logging out, my Young Dorotchi consumes the food item immediately. Is it possible to prevent this from happening? Or can you only save food items for later if you paid for them? thanks a bunch!

The trick to saving them is to enter the passwords for these items when your Tamagotchi character has a toothache.

Wow! I didn't know that. But If you want t do that, you have to make your tama eat a lot of snacks. That will make it overweight.

There is a possible way. Type in the code repeatedly until the tama doesn't want more. Then you can store it.
