V4.5 Regular School, Not Preschool

OK, I'm probably the ONLY person who doesn't know this but when my tama leaves preschool and goes to regular school, it gets handed something that looks like a decorated Christmas Tree (I don't get it).

Anyway, is there a way to guess the correct package in that game of the blinking 3 packages where 2 of them are turds??? I always get the turds, I never get the happy one. Is it just random luck or am I supposed to figure something out when 2 packages blink and then 1 blinks and so on?

At first I thought you have to just keep your eye on the one that stays solid while the two other boxes flash. Sometimes I get the skill points...and sometimes I get the poo. So I'm starting to get the feeling it's random.

I'd like to get some help with this too haha.

When 2 boxes blink, they swap around. You just have to follow the box with the happy one inside it as it swaps around.
