V4.5 important mail problem

Help ! My v4.5 tamagotchi's important mail won't disappear, no matter how many times I play the game associated with its job... Should I reset and download, or am I missing something ?

Did you read the mail? That usually gets it to vanish for me. They get lots of mail throughout the day!

Yes, I did it went away after I left it alone for some time though !! So problem seems to have been solved : )
