V3 King's costume code

In my Items, I have the "Royal Costume" and of course it gives me a code after my tama wears it. I heard that it goes with the Nintendo DS game. How? I'm thinking about buying Corner Shop 2. Will the code work for that?

I think the V3 code works only on the original Corner Shop game.

There is a V4 code you get after wearing the royal costume that works on the Corner Shop 2 game.
