Ok, being curious my family and I decided to go to Goodwill today just to look around and because a new one around our block opened up, and I saw one of my friends at school, I was so scared I jumped because of embarssment, and then he walked off.

How will I survive school Monday?? He might think the Jacket I'm going to wear on Monday is from Goodwill, which is not.

Help! Help!! I'm so embarssed.

Oh but it was pretty cool. They had $6 dollar tv, $4 toasters, and 50 cent books pretty cool.

Next time I check their I will disquise myself. DEAD SERIOUSLY.

I don't see why you're so embarrased. If you're worried about him thinking your jacket is from goodwill, wear a different one.

Simple, really C:

Well my family is saying things like "you shouldn't be embarrsed because he was there too", and so on.. See I don't another good jacket to wear, and I really want to wear. Ohhh, I am going to wear it, need a defense.

I think you're overthinking this too much. Just wear the piece of clothing and ignore what he says if he goes on about how you go to Goodwill, make note he was there too the same day otherwise he shouldn't know you go there as well.

Ok if he or she is not that popular then he or she will only tell friends.
Then their friends will tell their friends, and their friends will their friends, and on.

Thanks for the advice Tigerlily013, I'm very scared. Make note that this was my first time going to goodwill.

Buying stuff from Charity or second hand shops doesn't mean a person is poor. It means the person likes to help out others.

Don't be embarrassed. [:

Shweet word of advice.

I didn't nothing there though.. I was tempted to..

You don't have to be embarrassed. In fact, among my crowd, it's cool to buy things from thrift shops because they tend to look grungy. Anyway, just take it with a grain of salt. Don't make a big deal about it, and other people won't either. If the person says "Hey, I saw you at Goodwill the other day" you should just say "Yeah, I saw you too." Chances are, you won't get teased considering that that person was there, too. Don't worry so much. It'll all be OK. ^_^

You're forgetting something important.

He was there too.

He can't exactly say 'lulz he was at goodwill' when he was too.

-Edit-

Totally didn't read any replies before mine. XD

Just listen to everyone else xP

There's no shame in going somewhere cheap for a change.

Nothing wrong with getting a good deal.

What does it matter what shop you bought your jacket from? o.o

*has no idea what a goodwill is anyway*

Who cares? I go to "Value Village" all the time, it's pretty much the same thing. He shouldn't care where you get your jacket, nor should he go blab about it.

Your just over reacting, like said before he was there too.

I don't really get what the big deal is. There's nothing to be embarrassed about. Just wear the jacket to school and don't listen to what anyone else says about it.

You shouldn't worry too much. Who cares where your clothes are from? They could be from a super expensive store to a cheap one, and people would still look at your personality.

If this guy was really your friend, he wouldn't say that. He might say it as a harmless joke, but I think he'll just drop it.
