"Kiko! No fair! You've got loads of good people! We're gonna suck in your dust!" Kiki yelled.
"I'm sorry, Kiki. But Kayko picked me to be on her team. It's only fair we stick with our team; never give up." I argued, trying not to hurt her feelings. Kiki's feelings are so fragile, if you touch them they fall apart into a million pieces. It was getting a bit cloudy, and you could hear the fierce storm charging it's way towards Gotya already. Rumbling was heard and the clouds above looked as if they would explode any second.
"Actually, I think we should go home. It's darkening and I'm getting bad vibes right now," Kayko whimpered.
"Well, I'm not! Kiko, we were friends from day one. Why do you like this misfit hippy AND NOT ME!" Kiki exploded with rage, just as the murky rain water started tipping down. Now what? The lightning struck and thunder rolled. Kiki seemed to be crying, but the filthy rain made it hard to tell. Her head tipped towards her chest, as the background darkened still and everyone was gripped on a cliff hanger. What could we do? If we tryed to comfort her, she would be mad. If we didn't, then she would go totally ballistic.
"Kiki..." Jonjo whispered (for once he was actually serious.),"do you want to stop and pick new teams the mext time we play?"
That made her smile a bit, but a firery glare struck across her face like the lightning around us.
"I don't CARE if you were actually being serious JONJO! I'm NOT going HOME!"
That just made everything sink lower.
"O.k Kiki, I'll go home. I want to put my stocking up. We don't want to force you to do what you don't want to do," Kendal explained.
"Yeah. Bye." everyone but Kiki chorused.
They waved as the clouds lit up bright yellow. They all went off in different directions, many of them looking pityfully at Kiki. I opened my mouth to speak, but Kiki started first.
"I HATE you; I HATE EVERYONE!" she screeched, darting off towards the road. Everybody ran after her, and Jonjo and Kendal rugby- tackled her. There was a mad struggle, people shouting "NO!" and "KIKI! STOP!". But she still slipped through our grasp. She changed direction and fleed to the cemetry. And knowing Kiki, she had to pick the most haunted, most unilluminated cemetry in the whole of Gotya. The weather was always getting worse and we were catching cold, and we knew Kiki would. It was so TYPICAL that she had to pick the worst day to NOT wear her jacket. There was only one thing for it.
