trying to figure out which version this one is

hey guys.. so i just recently bought off of ebay 2 used tamagotchis.. and i know the one on the left is a V3.. anyone help me out on the right one? im guessing V1? not sure though.. she didnt have anything in her description about it

Fastest way to check is to put in a battery and see what the games / options are. The V2 has a shop - the V1 doesn't.

I bet the Transparent Magenta is a V2. Because the V1 has a different background design than the V2, and the V2 has more to offer than a V1.

i actually own both of those. left is a v3 and on the right is a v1.

Yep, I think I can back up the V1 comment just by looking at the background.

My V2 came with that background (Shell is sort of a transparent black with purple buttons if it makes any difference)... I'd think the one in the picture is a V2 as well.

Just check for the shop when you receive it I guess.

yeah well I can 100% garuntee you that is a v1. there was no v2 with that shell design >_>
