Training a Tama-go
This guide is for raising a tama-go with excellent care and virtually "Perfect" training to increase your chances at the most favoured tamagotchis.
I would like to thank "Binary" for finding out the bathroom times that i am using here, it really helped me calculate everything else out perfectly ^_^

BABY STAGE
You will start with a male or female baby, this will only affect what 2 of the above are possible from perfect care.

Feed Requirements: ~2 minutes
Bathroom time: 5 minutes
Weight: 5lb (At all times)
Sleep: NO SET TIME
Wake: NO SET TIME
Duration: 1 Hour (60 minutes)
These babies will need constant maintenance so choose a time where you can spare an hour or two to raise it properly.
It will get sick once (compulsory) so cure it when it does as it reduces your friendship bar much faster then normal. (~20 minutes into caring)
It will go to sleep once ~45 minutes into caring for it and will sleep for 7 minutes.
Its evolution will occur 1 minutes after one of its bathroom times an hour after you start.
TIPS:
It doesn't put on weight during this stage so feed it as often as it needs.
When it takes a nap, its bathroom time is stopped so it will occur 7 minutes afterwards then the normal 5 minutes.
The tamagotchis have 2 hidden hunger bars and 1 hidden happiness bar which makes it 7 hunger and 6 happiness total.
Be sure to play games during this stage to build its friendship up quickly (Shoot the bug is the faster of the two to finish if you can complete it)
This makes a great opportunity to build up gotchi points early and get used to the mini-games so you have more success.
Try to feed it meals (like pork and beans since it costs nothing) even if the hunger bars show full since there are 2 hidden ones, this will keep the 5 bars full more often.
Raising a baby at night will allow you to take a break from caring for it once it evolves (see toddler stage for more info)
TODDLER STAGE
Depending on what gender you start with, you will get from the following;

Feed Requirements: ~20 minutes
Bathroom time:1 hour 40 minutes (100 minutes)
Weight:10lb
Sleep: 7:30pm
Wake: 7:30am
Duration: 1 Day (24 hours)
Care requirements are considerably less then the babies so you will be able to complete other errands throughout your day. (~30 minutes between maintenance)
This is the most important stage in ensuring you getting one of the best 4 (cared for) tamagotchis for the tama-go.
When you catch your tamagotchi doing the "Wiggly Dance" send it to the toilet straight away (You have about 20 seconds before it makes a mess)
When it goes to sleep, its bathroom time is paused and it doesn't get hungry, unhappy or unfriendly
TIPS:
It can put on weight now so be careful how much you feed it since its weight has a significant impact on its evolution (try to keep it at 10lb or as low as possible)
When it has evolved into a toddler its bathroom time starts at 53 minutes from evolution (maybe 1 minute later since this happened to me) then normal bathroom times.
Being good at the mini-games really helps and each game will;
- increase its happiness by 1 heart each time played (Must be good or higher)
- reduces its weight (0-1 "OK", 1-2 "Good", 3 "Great", 4 "Excellent")
- raises your friendship bar by 1/2 a heart (Must be good or higher)
- pays gotchi points. (0pt "OK", " 100-400pt "Good", 500-800 "Great" 1000pt "Excellent)
Catching your tamagotchi doing the "Wiggly Dance" and sending it to the toilet before it makes a mess will raise your training bar by 3 points (15 maximum)
If it beeps at your for nothing, you can either praise it or discipline it (If chosen correctly then training bar will go up by 1.
Letting your tamagotchi make a mess may cost you 1 bar of training, if struggling to raise training bar in time, change its time at sleep time to any normal hours and raise it as normal, you will get more chances to catch it doing the "Wiggly Dance" (When you put it to sleep, check how long since last bathroom time and add that to your tamagotchis waking hours for next bathroom time (may change by few minutes depending on how long it took you to change time and how many seconds it was before you started to change time) - This will also slow your evolution slightly but will ensure higher success rate.
Use a clock or alarm to set a time just before its bathroom time if you are busy and you can still get the bars you need for perfect evolution.
TEEN STAGE (Good Care)
If you have raised your tamagotchi correctly then you will get either of the following;

Both of these are the 2 top-cared-for teens on the tama-go and if you keep caring for your tamagotchi properly each time round, you will always get these two depending on gender.
Feed Requirements: ~35 minutes
Bathroom time: 2 hours 20 minutes (140 minutes)
Weight:15-20lb
Sleep: 8:30pm
Wake: 7:30am
Duration: 1 Day (24 Hours)
Care is much lower for teens and varies on the care level given, they can be really easy to raise if you have either of these two. (~1 hour between maintenance)
Having at least 8 bars of training should be sufficient to get either of these two but go as high as you can and maintain it.
They can no longer earn training bars by catching them out on the "Wiggly Dance" but you should catch them out so you do not lose any training bars.
TIPS:
When it evolves, the remaining time for its bathroom time from toddler stage remains exactly the same for the up-coming bathroom time only (E.g. 21 minutes before bathroom time means it is another 21 minutes before normal bathroom time starts)
You can still those last 1 or 2 training bars you may need from praise or discipline when it beeps at you for nothing.
Keep a sharp eye on the friendship level as it needs to be kept towards full if you want one of the 4 tamagotchis listed above.
Your should consider a renovation if you haven't done so or want something new (New renovations may appear at teen stage but will cost much more)
Happiness and friendship still drop slowly over time so don't forget to play games with the tamagotchi to raise them both back up.
Teens cannot be toilet trained even if your bars are full so try to keep catching it out.
ADULT STAGE (Excellent Care)
Feed Requirents: ~50 minutes
Bathroom Time: 3 hours (180 minutes) - Tamagotchi is fully toilet trained if training bars are high enough so there will not be any mess at all.
Weight:25-30lb (Most will be either) 15lb - Chamametchi
Sleep: 8:15pm (Single) 8:45pm (Married) 8:25pm (With Baby)
Wake: 7:30am
Duration: Varies on when your tamagotchi marries and whether it dies or leaves (see below)
If you raised it correctly, it will choose one of the two tamagotchis from the gender of tamagotchi you have (at random) so you may need to maintain the care level and hope for the gender you want each generation if you want a certain tamagotchi (E.g. Lovlitchi is popular among fans and many hope to get her as a tamagotchi)
If you have a high training bar (or full bars) your tamagotchi will go to the toilet itself so you don't have to keep an eye on its time if you want (you can still catch it out if you want)
All 4 of these tamagotchis require little maintenance throughout the day so you may only need to check it every hour or so (Good for school since you only need to check it during recess/lunch)
TIPS:
If you love the tamagotchi you got and want to keep it for longer, make sure you don't marry your tamagotchi until about 7-8 years (it may turn into an "Oldie" if left too long before marriage) then marry it before it turns into an oldie (unless you love the "oldie" tamagotchis in which case, do not marry until you are ready to move on since it cannot evolve again
You can marry your tamagotchi at the age of 6 via Date Place, you can marry earlier if you have a second adult tamagotchi of the opposite gender who you have communicated with enough times to create an egg.
You can continue to raise your tamagotchi beyond 30 Years (1 month real time) if you keep good care of it and don't marry it.
When you marry, you will have a baby ~24 hours later then the parents will leave at midnight after having the baby for 24 hours total. (It takes 10 minutes for them to leave)
Consider what renovation you want to have as adults should have special renovations to choose from (I never found the beach house one though) - Chances are higher as your gotchi points rise.
If you want to marry your tamagotchi earlier via date place, change time to 6:59am when tamagotchi is 5 and it will become 6 at 7am, change it back and date place should be avaliable soon (1 day early) - Note: Doesn't work any earlier in age and it may take a few hours to become avaliable.
If you have any figurines for the tamagotchi (apart from the starter) adults can use everything they buy from the shops on figurines (each sold separately) This will make it more fun raising your tamagotchi by increasing the variety of activities and games it has.
