Tom jolted awake the next morning and saw a very unfamiliar figure down the meadow. He got up and streached and hid behind a bush that was near the figure. The figure was a

The furawatchi sighed, then pushed them. "bye bye, losers." then with another shove, she sent them flying all the way back the up the meadow. Licorice landed first. Ion landed on him and Tom landed on Ion. "OUCH!" they all said. wasn't as easy as I thought. thought Tom, deep in his thoughts. Then thirsty, Tom walked off by himself to go find water while Licorice would make a fire and Ion would collect sticks. Tom found one tiny crystal water lake and took a sip of the water. "delicous!" yelled Tom so loud that Ion and Licorice came to take a sip too, and repeated him. "Let's make the fire here." said Ion. "good idea." said Tom. Suddenly a fish flew out of the water, and Tom grabbed it and squeezed it and the fish stopped squirming and stayed dead. "Food and water! But the only thing that is-" Ion was cut off by Licorice who was yelling "I found shelter! I found shelter!" and it was a bark tree that had a very large hole at the bottom big enough to fit the three of them and a fire. Tom began to gather sticks. When Tom returned, the fire was begining to light. He threw the sticks he was carrying in and the fire was complete. They had a very good meal. "River Trout." said Ion, he was a expert at fishing and had a fish encyclopeida in his backpack from school. Yes- Tom and Ion had their backpacks with them since they were both homeless and orphans and had been sent to school. When Tom finally licked the last piece of the fish, he felt very tired. Ion and Licorice were sound asleep right now. Tom deicided to take a walk...
