This upsets me

Have you noticed that on TV, nobody (except for the Sprosue twins) has freckles. Like put your fingertips together. Now put where your fingertips meet on your nose. THe middle of your fingers should be touching your upper cheek. From the pointer finger to the ring finger, that is where I have freckles. It really upsets me because my biggest dream is to be on TV as an actress.

I think freckles usually darken, and thus become more pronounced, with exposure to the sun. Parents for the past several years have been slathering their kids with sun-screen to protect against later-life skin cancer. So, most children with freckles have only pale ones.

The article about freckles on wikipedia (here) seems to indicate that freckles fade once a child enters puberty. Most of the child-actors on television are past puberty, so even if they had childhood freckles, they're unlikely to now.

I am surprised that the Harry Potter character Ron is not portrayed as having freckles in the movies, since it is stated in the books that he had them.

Well, yeah. Rupert Grint (actor) still has freckles and he is 18. I see adults with freckles occasionally.

My sister is starting to get freckles.

Thanks for the explnation binary. My mom has no freckles on her face, but she has them on her arms lolers, my sister is 13 and she still has freckles. SHe hates them and tries to cover them up with make up but it never works XD.

I wish I still had my freckles, that probably explains why I mysteriously don't have freckles anymore.

I have one on my lip, and one that looks like a beauty mark from a 60's actor or something. I wish I still had all of them.

I was EXAGGERATING. I don't really care for Lindsey Lohan, but some people still have them. I couldn't think of anybody else with freckles at that time. I just haven't heard the name Lindsey Lohan (or heard anything about her) for a while so I forgot she existed...
