Okay well on Saturday my friend called me and she said something about having a crush and I said "Im 1 year older than you." then she says "But still too young." I mean if shes saying im too young why is she saying "I Love you, Kurt"? shes 10 im 11 1/2. Isnt that weird if shes saying that I shouldnt date if she says to Kurt she loves him? Well yes I think they kissed in 2nd grade .-. I only had a BF in Kindergarten... Anyway its not like I wanna marry Pete in 5th grade xP I have feelings for him but I know im WAY too young to be boyfriend and girlfriend yet I just wanna be friends with him first and then maybe in 7th grade then we could do dating?

In my opinion, I don't think kids should date until the last year of highschool, or highschool.

It has a lot to do with maturity.

You need to know what love realy is about.

Love is patient, kind, never boastful [never bragging in other words], does not envy, and most importantly LOVE NEVER DIES!!

So, if you can't or don't want to picture yourself with this guy for the rest of your life, it is not love.

The point/goal of dating is marriage. It's not to move up in popularity, or 'just cuz everyone else is and it's fun to hold and and get mushy'. No, that's not what love truly is.

So if you are dating-

•because he/she is just so hott [and that's all]

•'cuz everyone else is

•because it's fun

•because I need to move up in the popularity scale

•because people don't like singles

•ect

than you are dating for the wrong reasons and need to re-evaluate your relationships.

If you DO decide to date someone, always set limits for yourself before hand.

If don't want to be put in a situation where 'you know you should stop, but you can't' you need to set boundries like I won't kiss this guy till we are older, or the farthest I'll go with physical contact is holding hands ect.

The decision is yours but once you give a piece of your heart away, you can't get it back. So be careful and choose wisle. :furawatchi:
