Because the crazy thing-namer would like people to ask that question, and people that get confused break the law, so they get fined by the government for parking in a parkway, and the government gets money. This is a whole scheme, and clearly the thing-namer of the world is in cahoots with the government to get more money! Get it?

I can't answe that, i live in britain.

Our way for driving in the 'Parkway' is driving on the 'Road'

And we don't drive in the 'driveway' we park in the...uh...'Parking section'.
