when you first start a tamagotchi you get an egg, yes? when your tama gets older and the matchmaker(or a friends tama) comes and it gets married it has a baby. why doesnt it lay an egg? i would like it, since the parent stays 24 hours(or something), that half that time the new tama would be an egg. so the parent is lke taking care of the egg until it hatches. thats just my idea....
