No it's not, it is the V6 Music Star, where you and your Tamagotchi can form a band. No real connection to Idol.

The Music Star is the V6 however it does not carry the name "V6". When your in Music City if you log out you will see "Please enter this LOGOUT PASSWORD in your V6 Tamagotchi Toy."

the V6 is nothin lik american idol, for a strt ur tama learns to ply an instrument whn in american idol u dont, u jst sing.

nd also u form a band aswell in which ur tamas band mates ply instruments aswell

It's not. I emailed them and they said it's not, but everything that they do BESIDES emailing proves its a V6. I'm confused.
