I haven't done a tama log in over 13 years, but I've recently rekindled my love of tamagotchi with a v4. My girl friend and I used to have a v4 each, but some how I lost mine. She lost interest when I lost mine, but I kept hers going. I went through a generation or 2, and then the battery went dead after she left it sitting for over half a year. Well, I went to wal-mart, and instead of buying a new v5, as I've heard mixed reviews, I bought some new batteries for her v4.
So, I hatched little Edge at about 4pm today, and kept an eye on him in between rounds of Smash Bro's with my friends. I forget the right time, but after a nap, and all the typical baby activites he changed into Mizutamatchi. I don't know if that's the result of good parenting or bad, (I'll admit, I was distracted and let about 3 poops build up and he got sick) but the end result was just that.
I sent him to school, and he seemed to have a good time, and I played a bunch of jump rope with him. I bought him a bunch of stuff at the store, such as grapes, pizza, maraca's, and I think a few other food items. He couldn't use the maraca's, I'm guessing due to the lack of apendages other than legs. Below is a growth chart, to help me guestimate the outcome of my tama. I'm going to be trying for different tamas each time.

I tried to play some more jump rope, but he refused. I can't tell if this is just for my sake of not having to play with it as much, or if he's being defiant. I punished him once, but it didn't make him play with me, so perhaps it was unnecessary.
At about 8 pm, he went to bed.
I used to have 2 p2's and a p1 when I was younger, so we'll see how this one goes. I'm debating on getting either a v5, or investing in either a morino or an ocean tamagotchi, but I don't know if I'll have the time. I hear the ocean tamagotchi's require a lot of attention. More to come tomorrow.
End of day stats:
Full hearts for food and happy
one bar training
5 crayon, 15 star, 9 flower
11 lbs, 517 points
